“Living in New England and working as a landscape painter, I am constantly in awe of the beauty that surrounds me. The ever changing light throughout the seasons fills me with a sense of peacefulness and spirituality when seen in nature. I feel compelled to capture those emotions through color, shapes, textures and a strong composition. Whether its a brilliant color saturated light bathing a sky full of clouds at daybreak or a soft, delicate rosy light caressing a stand of trees in a field at day’s end, my intention to the viewer is to express a sense of place and timelessness. Appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us is seen when we decide to take a moment and look.”
